Light Source
This high-intensity 3 Watt LED light source was developed specifically for the THS to eliminate the need for cumbersome metal halide bulbs and light guides. It offers high intensity lighting, consistent color and a 10,000+ hour bulb-life in a very small package. Furthermore, it is compatible with any endoscope that uses an ACMI light guide connection. A battery powered version even eliminates the power cable.
Hysteroscope
This rigid hysteroscope is specifically designed for GYN applications, and is a common choice for sterilization and other intra-uterine procedures.
Hysteroscope Sheath
This is a continuous-flow hysteroscope sheath with a 5 French working channel. It provides for the continuous in-flow and out-flow of liquids needed for some GYN procedures via the two vertical channels and associated stop-cocks.
Camera Head
This compact camera head is a high-quality single-chip-videocamera system specifically developed for use in endoscopy (with either rigid or flexible endoscopes). It consists of a camera head and coupler that make it compatible with any standard DIN eye cup. A separate power supply and camera control unit have been integrated into the LCD monitor.
LCD Monitor
The monitor is a 15 inch high resolution color thin film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display (LCD), and has been modified in several ways that help drive the compact nature of this system: the camera control unit is incorporated into the monitor base, as is the 12V power supply for the lightsource. All connectors are located on the front for easy access.
Accessories
We also provide a number of helpful accessories, including:
- An easy-to-use device to record both still images and video on a USB drive (MediCapture™).
- A Tenba carrying case custom-fitted to hold the equipment safely and securely.
- Re-chargeable 3 Volt lithium batteries and a re-charger base for the wireless version of the LED light source.
The smart design of the valve prevents fluid splash-back through the procedure while allowing smooth insertion of devices. The valve is non-sterile and can be used with any 5-French or smaller device. (Please note: SmartValve may be incompatible with the ACMI slim line sheath).
SmartValve is provided non-sterile. For sterilization, use an autoclave at 121 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes prior to procedure. For disinfection, the valve can be soaked for 12 minutes in Cidex® OPA followed by a water rinse (per the Cidex OPA IFU).
