Adiana Training Program

While the Adiana procedure is easy to learn and perform, it should only be done by physicians who meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • Have experience performing hysteroscopic procedures under local anaesthetic or IV sedation
  • Have read and understand the Instructions for Use.

The Adiana Permanent Contraception Physician Training Program provides detailed information about the procedure. Physicians must complete this program before using Adiana Permanent Contraception. The program includes didactic training, hands-on training, and proctored cases.

Hands-on training

Physicians will have the opportunity to simulate the procedure using:

  • Video/hysteroscopy equipment
  • Adiana catheter and RF generator
  • Uterine model

Proctored cases

  • A minimum of 3 proctored cases are required to complete the training
